About Birdie

At Birdie, we're reimagining care for older adults. We're building the technology that powers the future of home healthcare, empowering care teams with tools to deliver better, more dignified care, and enabling older people to thrive in their own homes for longer. Our all-in-one solution powers millions of care visits every month, equipping care providers with the tools they need to deliver exceptional, efficient care.

We're not here to tinker at the edges. We're here to radically transform a broken system.

That's why we've built a platform that supported over 60 million care visits and enabled care for 116,000 individuals in 2025, and we continue to grow our impact. We're scaling fast, but staying true to our purpose. That's why we're proud to be a B Corp, using business as a force for good.

Founded in 2017, Birdie is backed by world-class investors like Index Ventures, Sofina and Omers. In 2023, we ranked #6 in the Deloitte Fast 50, making us one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK. You can check out more about our impact and recognition here.

But speed isn't the point. Impact is.

Your mission

Build the commercial data infrastructure that makes Birdie's go-to-market smarter: clean pipelines, well-governed models, and an access layer that lets revenue teams answer their own questions and sets us up to get real value from AI as we embed it across the business.

How you will contribute

  • Own the commercial transformation layer, writing, testing, and maintaining dbt models that turn raw data from across our commercial stack into reliable, well-documented outputs that power workflows and decisions across the business.

  • Build data solutions for customer success (renewals, risk identification), sales operations (pipeline health, territory management), finance (revenue recognition, forecasting), and marketing (attribution, lead scoring) - defining data solutions to commercial problems.

  • Design and maintain the pipelines that move modelled data reliably between our commercial systems, owning monitoring and recovery end-to-end.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of core commercial data domains, becoming the person who understands the data deeply enough to make good judgements about what the business actually needs to measure, not just what it asks for.

  • Proactively monitor and improve data quality, investigating issues before they reach a dashboard or decision. Implement testing standards that prevent regressions and treat correctness as non-negotiable.

  • Work closely with RevOps and commercial leads, building enough domain knowledge to challenge requirements as well as deliver them. Default towards repeatable, self-serve outputs over answering the same question twice, and support commercial teams with ad hoc analytical questions when needed.

You'll thrive here if...

  • You have written production SQL and dbt models that other people have relied on: tested, documented, and built to last rather than built to ship. You care about the difference between code that works and code that is maintainable.

  • You have worked within a commercial or operational data domain and built enough understanding of the underlying business to make sensible modelling decisions.

  • You seek out context rather than waiting for a full brief. When a request does not quite make sense, you say so: you would rather ask the right question upfront than build the wrong thing cleanly.

  • You can explain a data quality issue or metric definition to someone in Sales or CS with no data background, and you see that as part of the job, not a distraction from it.

  • You are comfortable working in a small team where priorities shift. You raise blockers early, deliver without close management, and do not wait for clarity before making progress.

Imposter syndrome is real — and we do not expect you to tick every box. If you are excited about our mission and think you could make a difference here, we want to hear from you.
