About Us
Legora is on a mission: to redefine how legal work gets done. From the very start we have been very clear about the fact that we are not building a solution for lawyers, we are building it with them, because it is the only way to make sure it gets done the right way; working side-by-side every step of the way.
Our AI-native workspace empowers legal professionals not just to work faster - but to ask better questions, unlock new insights. Every day, we push the boundaries of legal tech to make complex processes smarter, faster, and more human. From thousands of documents analysed in minutes to intelligent workflows designed in collaboration with leading practices, we’re turning possibility into reality.
Today we are trusted by global firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Bird & Bird and Linklaters in over 40 countries, but we have no plans on stopping here. We ship fast, we iterate effectively, and we scale rapidly - not by accident, but by design.
When you join Legora, you become part of a team that believes "good enough" isn’t good enough and that the way to win is together, by empowering lawyers to do their best work with technology that truly understands them. If you’re excited by building from first principles, working with exceptional people, and accelerating change in a high-stakes, high-impact domain—then this is the moment and the place.
We’re not just shaping the future of legal tech — we’re defining it. Ready to join us in building the intelligent future of law?
The role:
As our Senior Analytics Engineer for Finance, you will own the data foundations that power how Legora runs its business. You'll build the financial data layer that sits behind every number we report, from ARR and retention to unit economics, cash flow, and board-level reporting and turn a fast-moving stream of billing, CRM, and product data into a source of truth the whole company can trust.
This is a rare role that sits at the intersection of Finance, Engineering, and Analytics. You'll partner daily with Finance and GTM leadership, shaping how we forecast, plan, price, and report as we scale from scale-up to category-defining company. If you want your work to be read by the board, quoted in investor updates, and used to make real capital allocation decisions, this is the seat.
What you will be doing:
Design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and warehouse models that power Legora's financial and business reporting - revenue, ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, pipeline, margin, and more.
Build the single source of truth for SaaS metrics, integrating data from billing, CRM, ERP/accounting systems, product telemetry, and finance spreadsheets.
Partner closely with Finance and FP&A to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and monthly close - making financial data faster, cleaner, and more trustworthy than it has any right to be at our stage.
Own the data layer that feeds board reporting, investor updates, fundraising materials, and strategic reviews - and make sure the numbers always tie out.
Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting for Finance, RevOps, GTM, and the leadership team, and enable true self-service for stakeholders.
Design tests, monitoring, and documentation that make financial data auditable, reconcilable, and reliable as we grow.
Run deep-dive analyses on revenue, retention, pricing, and cost drivers - spotting the patterns that shape how we invest, price, and go to market.
Who you are
Solid experience in an analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI/finance-analytics role - ideally supporting a Finance, FP&A, or RevOps function.
Strong command of SQL, dbt, Python, and a modern BI tool, with hands-on experience building on Snowflake (or a comparable cloud data warehouse).
Deep understanding of data modeling, ELT best practices, and building systems that stay reliable and scalable as the business grows.
Fluent in SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, CAC, LTV, payback, cohort analysis) and comfortable working with financial concepts like revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and unit economics.
Experience wrangling data from systems like Stripe, Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, or similar billing/CRM/ERP tools is a strong plus.
A collaborative, curious mindset with the confidence to work independently, challenge assumptions, and push back on stakeholders (including senior ones) when the data says otherwise.
Excited to partner directly with Finance, RevOps, and GTM leaders and drive real decisions through data - not just produce reports.
But most importantly, you are someone who
“Gets stuff done” and understands building a $10bn company isn’t always glamorous and takes hard work and long hours
Strives in a fast-paced environment where the answers aren’t always clear and processes are few
